Cheaper Home Batteries Program
The Albanese government has announced their new Cheaper Homes Battery Program, making a solar battery more affordable than ever before.
“The Cheaper Home Batteries Program is the most important development in consumer energy since Australians first gained access to subsidised solar panels,” Smart Energy Council Chief Executive John Grimes said.
The name of the program might be Cheaper Home Batteries, but this program is not limited to home battery systems, residential, commercial and industrial premises are all eligible*, even if you have an existing battery system (and have not already claimed the rebate), you can install additional capacity under the program.
